Iraq Protest on the 2 Year Anniversary of the Invasion
March 19, 2005
This is what democracy looks like
I was harassed by a cop before I could take this photo. I had to "get down from there now!" I was standing on a concrete wall about 5 feet off the ground. I could have gotten a better photo if I had more time.
There were so many people here at the final stop before the platform. Not surprisingly, the police were performing their orders from people who profit off the war by making sure there won't be much photographic evidence of the massive group protest.

I found this scene ironic as the anti-war march passes the social security office
Oh right, Iraq has nothing to do with terrorism, I almost forgot. The mainstream media did a great job of getting us to forget
One of the speakers today said, "Remembering is important and an act of protest." Never forget that this war is about accumulating more wealth.
O yeah, our buddies the police were there. But who were they trying to protect, I wonder?
